flavour enhancer
2005

The place: a gallery for contemporary art and food. The wall, which connects the kitchen with the exhibition space, is covered with flavour enhancer. The flavour enhancer is made visible as a glittering wall - a minimal and inconspicuous interference that communicates meaning in the space and to its visitors.

One-person tables are placed in the exhibition space. They represent the individual area of each guest - an area were individual tastes are developed and the concentration of their own perceptions are intensified. In contrast to the use of flavour enhancers of the wall, the food served in the gallery is all-natural.
